Faraj Beading Trims
What is the difference between self-adhesive and 1" Extra Fabric (seam allowance) trims?
- Self-adhesive trims have a peel-and-stick backing for quick, no-sew application, typically used for home decor, accessories, gift cards, etc.
- Seam allowance trims are designed for sewing and include extra fabric edges for stitching into garments.
Can I cut the trim to my desired length?
Yes! Because of our patented thread-less technique, our trims are designed to be cut easily without unraveling. You can trim to any length needed for your project.
How strong is the adhesive?
The adhesive is extremely strong and designed for pretty much any craft applications. For long-term use on fabric, we recommend reinforcing with a few stitches.
Can I remove or reposition the trim after applying it?
Light repositioning is possible immediately after application. Once fully pressed and set, the bond becomes more permanent.
Are these trims washable?
For best results, avoid machine washing. If needed, gentle machine cycle is acceptable. Hand washing is recommended. For garments, stitching is advised for durability.
What can I use these trims for?
Our trims are perfect for:
- Dresses & gowns
- Bridal veils & accessories
- Sleeves, collars, and hems
- Handbags & belts
- DIY fashion & home decor
Will the design be consistent across my order?
Yes! Because of our patented beading technique, our trims are machine-crafted for consistent, repeatable designs—perfect for professional and production use.
Are these trims suitable for children's items?
These trims contain small beads and are not recommended for children's products due to potential choking hazards.
Custom & Orders
Do you offer custom designs?
Yes. We frequently work from:
- Reference samples
- Sketches or photos
We can also help refine designs for cost efficiency and manufacturability.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQs vary by product and complexity. Some trims are available by the yard, while custom embellishment work typically requires a minimum run.
Can I send you my own fabric or garment pieces?
Yes. Many customers send us their cut garment components, which we embellish and return.
How do I get started with your beading process?
Send us an image of the garment you want to decorate and leave the rest to us!
